How on Earth is it Tuesday night already? I just finished my shift for today, and it flew by. Cake and coffee probably helped, but still…
Firstly, I would like to extend my thoughts to everyone in Brussels and their families. It was horrendous news to wake up to. Extremism sucks.
Today’s challenge is to talk about my ten favourite songs.
THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE. MY iTUNES GOES FOR 17 DAYS. I LIKE MUSIC.
I’ve picked a selection of my favourite songs, and tried to not repeat artists (because let’s face it, my top 10 would all be Fall Out Boy). I’ve missed out artists too which is annoying, but I wanted to mix up my favourites genre-wise to make it different to listen to.
- Part II by Paramore
It’s such an empowering song, and the throwback to Let The Flames Begin gets me all nostalgic.
- The Waiting Room by We Are The Ocean
This album is absolutely flawless, and the lead song from it is one that I can listen to again and again and again.
- I Love It by Icona Pop
It’s such a feelgood summery song! Takes me right back to my year abroad!
- Sophomore Slump Or Comeback Of The Year by Fall Out Boy
So I slipped one FOB in here. My all time favourite song from my all time favourite album – I want lyrics from it tattooed at some point!
- Road And The River by Runrig
I grew up with this album, and this song is really calming. I get really nostalgic when I listen to it.
- Cowboy Take Me Away by Dixie Chicks
This song is so romantic, and makes me think of the Little House books.
- Save Our Selves by The Blackout
Possibly my favourite live song by my favourite live band. WHY DID YOU SPLIT UP?
- All Of Me by John Legend
It’s such a romantic song, and despite what I wrote the other day it still makes me happy that there’s a guy out there who feels like this about a girl.
- Brother In Arms by Young Guns
There’s something so freeing about this song, and it reminds me of bus trips to uni when I lived in Granada.
- Lane Boy by twenty one pilots
THAT DROP. Need I say more?
What’s your favourite song?
Hope you’re all ok out there!
