blogging challenge

Day 24/25

Song for the day: Hallelujah by Paramore

Because nostalgia and the everywhere-ness of the word Hallelujah this weekend.

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!  I’m currently at my Grandad’s for the weekend, and have come down with one of THE worst colds in existence.  Thank God this weekend will be full of chocolate huh?  And singing the Lord of the Dance.  And essay writing.  YAY.

I kind of started writing yesterday’s post and never finished it.  It was a bit of a mad rush because I had my hair cut in the morning (doubly stressful because I was the only client for a good 15 minutes) and then we had to contend with the bank holiday traffic en route to Gdad’s. A 1.5 hour journey took us 2.5.  Yay.

Anyway, yesterday’s challenge was to talk about an attractive physical feature of mine.  I mentally laughed for ages when I read that.  What do I find attractive about myself?  I thought about it whilst in the standing traffic around Lincoln, and have concluded that my lips are fairly decent.  You can see many pictures of them in my post about my favourite MAC lipsticks. (Speaking of, I plan to own MAC Twig very very soon.  After I muster the courage to go into town and ask for a Debenhams beauty card.)

Today’s challenge is to list my 5 favourite blogs.  It’s tempting to just link yesterday’s #ff but I will list some blogs here too:

Saira at Through the Glitter Glass – Saira is always so full of energy and positivity!  It always makes me feel better when I read her posts 🙂

Alice at Dainty Alice – if you’re going to read anything, read her post about blogging cliques.  Very thought provoking!

Becky at Live For Love and Cake – travel heaven and year abroad nostalgia!  Also she’s lovely 🙂

Jemma at Dorkface – seriously if you don’t know about Jemma then I don’t know what I can say to you.

and last but very definitely not least

also her book blog is always a good read on Tuesdays and Wednesdays when you need a pick-me-up book 🙂

Those are a few of my favourite blogs!

Hope you’re all ok out there!
